STEM Leaders
Who are we?
We are a team of children that make sure our school uses digital devices safely and sensibly. We lead and set up digital equipment, supporting children (and staff) with digital tasks. We LOVE learning about new apps and using the V.R. headsets! We are also really excited to be supporting the children with our new government granted STEM equipment including LEGO Spike, Makeblock Mbots and Green Goblin Cars!

Eco Committee
Who are we?
We are Eco, and our job is to help everyone in Llandogo School look after the planet. We give out Tocyn Eco to children who make good choices, like recycling or saving energy. Every week we choose the Eco Class of the Week and give them a certificate to celebrate.
We also organise litter picks to keep our school clean and tidy, and we work on our action plan so we can keep our Platinum Eco Award shining. Being part of Eco makes us proud because we know we’re helping our school and the world at the same time.

School Council
Who are we?
We are the voice of the school! Every Friday we run an assembly and read out suggestions made by the pupils. We have regular meetings where we make decisions about Dojo rewards, upcoming fundraising events and community links. We are really proud to have achieved our Silver Community Award this year!

Heddlu Bach
What is Heddlu Bach?
Heddlu Bach is a fun and interactive pupil leadership group for Year Six pupils. Heddlu Bach supports Gwent Police priorities.
The children who are selected to become part of Heddlu Bach, are the 'Mini police-officers' for the school. Their role is to monitor behaviours, help tackle local issues and support efforts to link with community members.
By being a part of Heddlu Bach, pupils will become ethically informed citizens of Wales, through creativeness and learning. Pupils will build resilience and develop a successful and exciting future through collaborating with communities and the police.

We are very excited to launch our Welsh Language Dragon & Sheep Home Project across the school as part of our journey towards the Siârtha Iaith Silver Award.
Each week, one child from each class will take home their class creature from Wednesday to Monday, and record a few simple activities in the class book.
Here’s what each class will be taking home:
• Dosbarth Cribyn – Class Dragon
• Dosbarth Snowdonia – Class Dragon
• Dosbarth Blorenge – Class Sheep
Children can draw a picture or take a photo, then write a few short sentences (Welsh where possible). They will share their adventure in our Tuesday assembly.

Taking Welsh Forward – Criw Cymraeg/Language Leaders
We are proud to be working towards our Silver Cymraeg Campus Award, having already achieved Bronze. Our Language Leaders are doing a fantastic job encouraging everyone to use Welsh in daily routines and conversations.
We follow the Siarter Iaith to make sure Cymraeg is part of our everyday life. We encourage everyone to Siarad Cymraeg – in class, on the yard, and even at home. Simple phrases like:
- “Bore da!” (Good morning)
- “Diolch!” (Thank you)
- “Sut wyt ti?” (How are you?)
make a big difference!
Not only are we championing Welsh, but we are also promoting British Sign Language (BSL) alongside it, helping us celebrate communication in all its forms.
We will be posting support videos on Class Dojo to help families use Welsh at home. Together we can show that Cymraeg yw’r dyfodol! (Welsh is the future!)
